Journey measurement and privacy
OLT Solutions offers optional journey measurement across its directory websites and advertising portal. Use Analytics privacy at the bottom of a page to allow or decline it. Declining does not prevent browsing, inquiries or purchases. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this measurement.
What is recorded
With permission, a first-party cookie named directory_journey stores a signed random identifier for up to 180 days. We record arrival times, the visited page path, available referring page, campaign tags and advertising click identifiers. We do not store IP addresses or browser fingerprints in the journey records. Raw page-query strings, form answers and payment-card data are not collected by this feature.
When you submit an inquiry or purchase, we can connect that result to prior visits. Verified sign-in can link visits from multiple devices to your internal account identifier. A short-lived signed link can carry the journey to our advertising portal. No journey data is sent to Google, Meta or other advertising platforms by this feature.
Your choices and retention
The directory_tracking cookie remembers your choice for 180 days. Declining removes the journey cookie and stops further collection. Existing records linked to inquiries or payments remain part of the business record; attribution uses visits within the preceding 180 days. Ask through the directory’s contact or corrections page for access, correction or deletion of records relating to you.
Separate aggregate page and event counts and cookieless Umami analytics are described in the directory’s privacy policy. Essential sign-in and security cookies are independent of this optional measurement.
